We headed off to Cooper Island in the late morning. We tacked twice and then motored for the final run in order to beat some other boats to the moorings. It's always a challenge when staying at Cooper. If you arrive much after 2 p.m., you risk not getting a ball.
Cooper Island
We snorkeled along the shore. Sallie spotted a turtle but we missed it. Sallie, Roy and I spotted a very nice barracuda who was residing under our cat, but Taya didn't see it. Hee-hee.Our fish buddies
Around 5 p.m., we took a short dinghy ride to the newly renovated Cooper Is. Resort. The new owners have done a nice job.Sallie, Karen and Taya
We enjoyed an afternoon beverage and went back to the cat around 7 p.m. Dinner was chicken on the grill, Spanish Rice, peas and salad. We're having some problems with the generator as it tripped its breaker once. We're running the engines tonight to charge the batteries. Sallie is having a Sudoku lesson from Taya.Where are we heading tomorrow? We'll decide that after breakfast but it may be Leverick Bay.
Nightie-night!
Karen
